Mentoring – Pro-Vision employs skilled mentors who provide psychosocial assistance, life skills development and spiritual support to ensure that our unsung heroes remain resilient in the challenging work that they are engaged in.
Management – ‘Servant Leaders’ are exposed to a two year training program called ‘The Toolbox’ which covers the areas of governance, strategic planning as well as finance & administration.
Money – Pro-Vision acts as a conduit of funding to community based organisations, ensuring that there are effective controls in place and adequate reporting. More importantly, Pro-Vision ensures that the quantum and timeframe for the disbursement of funds, matches the ability and capacity that the community organisation has to effectively deploy such funding.
The M-Cubed community development methodology has been cited as a model of best practice by South African, Scandinavian and US corporates who support the process in impoverished communities in South Africa. The process includes Mentoring, (Discipling or Skills development) Money (Resource development) and Management (Capacity building and accountability). These three intertwined commitments is what it takes to create an intervention and help these community based organizations and servant leaders become sustainable. In turn, PVIC is then able to move on to assist other servant leaders focused on aiding widows and orphans.
